Hello

Janel is an accomplished Registered Nurse with emergency/critical care experience. She earned her Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing from Oregon Health and Science University in Klamath Falls, OR. While working at a rural, non-profit hospital, she learned the importance of community centered healthcare. The Emergency Department taught her to work efficiently, the importance of teamwork, and to give your all to people who need it. 

Janel is passionate about functional medicine and believes there is an important connection between health and community. Her goal for Peak IV Infusion and Wellness is to create an environment where people feel fully supported in receiving high quality care to live their best lives. Janel strives to create a team of medical professionals who genuinely want the best for their patients. She believes the Spearfish and surrounding areas deserve this integrated approach to healthcare and is blessed for the opportunity to serve them. 

Janel and her family moved to Spearfish in 2022. Shortly after moving, they fell in love with the beautiful Black Hills, amazing people, and genuine sense of community. She and her husband, Scott, feel grateful to be able to raise their three young children in Spearfish- a town filled with some of the kindest people they have ever met. 

When not working, you will find Janel and her family cruising Spearfish and enjoying all the beauty the Black Hills has to offer.
